The City of Edmonton invites residents who work, live and play Downtown to attend a public information session about the impact of Downtown revitalization projects on transit and traffic.
The EAD Joint Venture announced today that RBC Dominion Securities (RBC DS) will become a major tenant of Edmonton Tower. RBC DS, a part of RBC Wealth Management nada, is scheduled to occupy two floors of the 27 storey tower in 2018.
Last week construction crews performing soil remediation in the old parking lot unearthed old building foundations. This led us to an examination of a collection of historil aerial photographs of downtown Edmonton, which revealed two mysterious buildings that once sat atop what would later become NorQuest College’s downtown parking lot.

As May approaches, Edmonton’s community of gardeners, green thumbs and food enthusiasts aren’t the only ones planting and planning for the season: the city itself is getting one step closer to amending a bylaw that would make it easier for urban agriculture to take root and thrive.
The Program was created in 2013 to provide a fresh, interactive means of supporting lol ideas, initiatives and uses within the communities that Field Law serves. Through this Program, we are able to engage lol residents and contribute in a meaningful and lasting way. In celebration of our 100th anniversary this year, we will be awarding a total of $100,000 to great ideas that have a pay-it-forward impact.

The owner of the Hat Resto Pub in Edmonton says that he discovered a tunnel in the building’s basement. The pub was constructed in 1908, and it first opened its doors under the name the Golden Spike in 1912, making it one of the oldest eateries in the city.

One such amenity is active, vibrant spaces within the downtown core.
